Topic: What's This About?
When the faculty evaluation forms were first sent out, one of the most common things to occur was for someone to write a concern that took the form of: "I don't exactly do abcd, but here are some things I do that are pretty much like abcd. Would these count? Most of the time the answer was an unequivocal "yes!," but that shouldn't be the end of the story. You had some great ideas. And they deserved to be shared. And then the semester started, and everybody became extremely busy, and the faculty evaluations were revised, and we created a pilot form, and finally, we found a little time to share those ideas.
In the interlude, a couple of the Biology facilitators came together and started a blog to share ideas. It seemed like a good idea. So, in imitation of one good idea, with Dean Todd's permission, I started this blog.
At this point, there is an online web site that can run in multiple directions.
